I’ve found a lovely little spot at my local park where the pink and grey galahs are nesting. I’ve been visiting for months now and just watching from afar observing their behaviour and daily routines. Sometimes I bring my dog along for his morning walk and it was at this moment I caught this shot of both mum and dad on guard as my pup wandered beneath their nesting tree. Wings outstretched, these feathered parents give my dog a warning, attempting to scare him off. My dog of course continues on completely oblivious.
